Space, facilities and getting your property ready.
How much does a sleepout cost?
Sleepouts start from $13,538 including GST. Delivery, site preparation and selected extras are additional. Ask for a quote for your property.
How quickly can I get one?
Typical delivery is 4–12 weeks from deposit, depending on order volume. We’ll confirm the current schedule and discuss site preparation and access with you.
Can a sleepout have a kitchenette, toilet or shower?
OC21 and OC22 include kitchenettes; other models have optional kitchenette layouts. These models do not include a bathroom. For a kitchenette and bathroom together, explore our self-contained range. Adding cooking or sanitary plumbing facilities changes which approval requirements may apply.
What do I need to prepare before truck delivery?
We’ll need your address, access details and proposed position. Arrange a suitable foundation, delivery and lifting access, any services and required approvals before delivery.
Can I move the cabin to another property later?
A suitable portable cabin can be moved to another property. Sunrise Build does not provide relocation services; you’ll need to arrange a specialist transporter and check the requirements for the new site.
Do I need building consent for a sleepout?
Some sleepouts qualify for a building consent exemption, depending on their configuration and site. For sleepouts over 10m² and up to 30m², this may involve a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP). The exemption has conditions on site placement and excludes cooking and sanitary facilities. Check the requirements for your property before ordering.
